I have been away for a long time now, not by choice but through a combination of my recent military assignments and a significant amount of travel. What little free time I have has been spent with my family. I have decided it is time to return to the imaginations and stories that have been crowding my mind. It’s time to return to writing.
I consider the seminal idea of my life to have been developed when I was 17 years old. I still have the original encyclopedia entry for a 3000-year span of human history, handwritten by a younger me. In that entry, I map out what happens on a grand scale, and indeed all my fiction fits within that timeline. It’s time to return, to finally address this story.
I am beginning work on “The Mankind War.” I hope, when it’s all said and done, you will enjoy it as I have enjoyed this idea percolating for now 30 years.
